between analog | digital | natural
My name is Sascha Markus Huth. I was born and raised in Munich, Bavaria, and currently live and work at the edge of the Alps near Lake Kochel — while remaining closely connected to the city. I am a self-taught multidisciplinary artist with a background in music and sound engineering, a foundation that continues to shape how I think about rhythm, form, atmosphere and composition.
At the core of my work lies a fascination with surfaces, traces and structures that seem to carry something beyond what they visibly are. I am drawn to moments where observation gives way to mood — where a fragment, a texture or a reflection begins to open into something less fixed and more resonant. This sensibility defines my abstract practice, in which visual source material is reworked through layering, reduction and intervention into images with depth, tension and presence.
I create artworks that do not reveal themselves all at once. What matters to me is a certain openness — images that resist a single reading and unfold through attention, association and time. They are meant to hold something back, while still inviting a closer look.
The axis that defines my work is analog | digital | natural. I do not see these as separate categories, but as interconnected forces that shape how a piece evolves.
Under ad.inf, I focus on organic structures, tactile qualities and a quieter visual intensity — a contemplative path through natural and elemental textures, from water and stone to wood and plant life, where observation becomes a way of inquiry.
Under mankofunk, the language becomes more vivid, glitch-infused, psychedelic and disruptive — opening into bolder digital territories with a critical, contemporary voice.
Both directions are connected by the same underlying search: transformation, contrast and image worlds that move beyond immediate perception and fixed interpretation.
I work intuitively and experimentally, allowing process, change and emergence to guide each piece as it develops. Moving between abstract art, fine art prints and contemporary wall art, I create works for modern spaces — visually distinctive, materially refined and shaped by a clear artistic vision.
